“EVERYTHING YOU DO IS ZEN”

I.

All you do is Zen
Daily mind
everyday heart
As mortals you will rule
   according to the situation
not yourself
You are not Yourself
All the suffering & joy
   you experience
depends on the conditions
When conditions change
All ends

II.

Why do you have happiness?
Why delight in its existence?
If experience differs
   by conditions
the mind neither grows nor bends
If success & failure differ
  by condition
the heart neither waxes nor wanes
Those who have not been affected
  by the happy wind
silently follow the pass

III.

Those who are not affected
   by failure
will not shake or disappear
Quietly walk along this road
Do not ask what
Do not ask me anything
It’s nothing

“TO SEEK NOTHING IS ZEN”

I.

People in this world are deluded
They are always longing
    for something
People in this world are being deceived
They are always eager
    for something
The sutras say
    To seek is to suffer.
    To seek nothing is bliss.

II.

All natures are pure
All appearences are empty
The search is suffering
It is not good to look
    for something
Dharma does not exist
All impressions
    are empty

Because it is impure
    the Dharma does not
        include itself

III.

The Dharma includes no being
because it is free
    from the impurity of being
The Dharma includes no self
because it is free
    from the impurity of self
The Dharma does not contain itself
    because it is not pure
The Dharma does not contain existence
    because it is not pure

IV.

The Dharma is not the law
Because it is affected
    by self-pollution
Do not use the mind
to create mind
Eliminate self-delusion
or practice false Dharma

When delusions are absent
    practice
        No Dharma
